Detailed itinerary

Open all

In more detail, every day of cycling was different. Different area, different scenery (fruit orchards, coconut plantations, rice paddies, khmer villages etc), different scenes of day life (fruit picking, rice cropping, weaving, goods trading, rice paper making, children playing and many more). Accommodation in the hotels was above average and the homestay night was clean and had each own charm.

The food was just brilliant and Tung played a huge role to ensure we got plenty of quantity, variety and quality. From posh dinning by the water in Can Tho to eating with the locals outside in Tra Vinh. There was plenty of fruit tasting as well, either as part of a planned break or the ad hoc need for a bite.

Reviews on Our Service

Our family did a 4-day tour with Vietnam Cycle Tours on one of their southern cycling options. Many of the destinations in the itinerary were chosen by us (VCT was flexible with their own itineraries) as we wanted to combine city visits and cultural stops with natural scenery and some time on the water. We did the obligatory Ho Chi Minh tour and headed south to explore the waterways, floating markets and small villages. We really enjoyed southern Vietnamese cuisine, the hotels were superb and our guide was VERY professional. There wasn’t a moment that we didn’t feel like we were in good hands. Overall the experience was just what we were looking for. Any snags along the way were quickly resolved. We would absolutely book another cycling trip with VCT.
